Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure efficient administrative processes within our organization. Duties
- Manage accounts receivable and perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.
- Oversee general ledger reconciliation and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Utilize double entry bookkeeping to track financial transactions and prepare reports.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks, ensuring precision in all records.
- Assist with governmental accounting practices as required by the organization.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline office operations and improve efficiency.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
- Support budgeting processes and assist in financial forecasting as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office management or similar role, with a strong emphasis on accounting functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A background in governmental accounting is a plus but not mandatory.
